About Brenda Hetrick
I attended the University of Alabama and continued my education at the Birmingham School of Law. While attending law school I was inducted into the Sigma Delta Honor Society and received the Judge Leigh Clark Scholarship.
Professionally I have been recognized for my work with Legal Services, having been awarded Outstanding Private Attorney for the years 2009, 2011 and 2013 . I have promoted women in the legal field as a past President of the Women Lawyers Section of the Mobile Bar and a past member of the Alice Meadows council.
Community involvement has always been important to me. I have worked with the homeless through Bread & Roses while living in Birmingham and with the Salvation Army in Mobile, educated young people about credit through the Credit Abuse Resistance Education Committee. I have served on the boards of the Salvation Army's Women & Children's shelter and Lifelines.
As a Christian, I sought to bring back the Red Mass through the St. Thomas Moore Society.
